One Thousand Museum Pool – 700 Feet Above Ground Featured

Zaha Hadid and One Thousand Museum have just revealed new renderings of the future Aquatic Center and Sky Lounge on the 60th and 61st floors of the ultra-luxury condo tower, which construction is expected to begin in Downtown Miami in 2014.

The One Thousand Museum building will be Hadid’s first skyscraper in the western hemisphere also featuring Miami’s first private helipad on a residential condominium. Within the crown of One Thousand Museum, the double-height Aquatic Center and Sky Lounge will offer spectacular panoramic views over Biscayne Bay, the Atlantic Ocean and the Miami skyline. Sculptural arched interior walls and a double-height glass facade will create a dramatic venue for private events and the innovative infinity-edge indoor pool.

Units in One Thousand Museum are currently selling for a premium $900 to $1,400 per square foot. Reportedly, the building is already at 50% capacity.
